Das iso-Fire Protection System

ISO-FLAME fire protection products comprises a mix of both fire retarding
and intumescent (foams up when attached by fire) products. These
ensure that the spread of fire and smoke is prevented for a defined time
and construction components remain stable.

The fire resistance of the systems is tested in accordance with DIN 4102.
This differentiates the fire resistance classes, e.g. F 30, F 90 and F 120.
The F-Classes state how many minutes a component has to be able to
withstand fire and smoke.

The highest demands for the sealing-off
of joints and cable ducts.

Joints and cable ducts in fire walls and ceilings must be sealed with fire
resistant products (F-classes). These must to approved, from e.g. the
German institute for Construction Technology DIBt in Berlin. All fire
protection products are subject to permanent monitoring by external
test institutions. A system test is required for cables in fire walls and
ceilings. In addition, products for facades are also tested for weather
resistance.
